"Feedback from last year's review led Vision to simplify and
streamline the T9600's console to make it easier to use, and it
paid off - testers loved the quick-speed and incline buttons which
let them easily select their level and go. The programs include
four heart-rate routines, a 5-K course, and a pacer feature that
lets you pick your distance and challenge the treadmill to a
head-to-head competition; when the race is up, it shows how many
minutes you won (or lost) to the machine. This is perhaps the best
value in a home treadmill we've seen. Our tester says: 'I liked
the display and the quick incline/speed buttons. The deck is quiet
and feels sturdy and smooth, even though the console shook a
little as I ran.' - Joanne Gray, 49 "

"For runners coming back from, say, a stress fracture, the T9600
is one treadmill not to miss. Its orthopedic belt is softer than
most and its textured surface provides excellent traction. Also,
testers unanimously agreed that the T9600 felt smooth underfoot, a
feature usually associated with much pricier models. One more
thing: It's exceptionally quiet."
